Tax Auditors training

Goal: Equip Tax Auditors with practical knowledge and tools to analyze and investigate Blockchain and Cryptocurrency transactions.

 

Main takes:

  • Identifying taxable events in cryptocurrency activities.

  • Understanding transactions involving selling digital assets, trading between digital assets, using crypto for payments, mining or staking crypto, and receiving airdropped tokens.

  • Determining crypto gains or losses for tax purposes.

  • Recognizing patterns of Money Laundering and Tax Evasion on the Blockchain.

  • Techniques for hiding and finding funds on the Blockchain.

  • Assets Seizure and Classification.

  • Requesting Information from Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs).

Prerequisite: Introduction to Blockchain and Cryptocurrency course.

Duration: 12 hours (2 days)

Upon completion: Tax Auditors will be proficient in performing blockchain analysis investigations for taxation purposes. They will be able to build tax assessments for individuals and businesses operating within the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency ecosystem. Additionally, they will be familiar with the latest techniques for identifying Money Laundering and Tax Evasion activities across different blockchains.
